Slane Community Centre Update

Thanks to YOU we have raised €250,000 to date

What has been going on?

• We need to secure an additional €150-200,000 from LEADER funding before starting to build.
• This means that we have to apply EU procurement rules to the entire build project.
• There has been a lot of extra work preparing the documents and adhering to the strict guidelines but we are almost there.

 THE NEXT STEPS

• The project will be uploaded to eTenders before Christmas.
• There is a minimum 8-week for contractors to make an application.
• Following the selection process, we will apply for LEADER funding.
• A loan will be obtained for the balance.
• Construction on the Community Centre will commence.
• We expect the start date to be March 2019.
