We are re-launching our Grand Draw for another year which we are delighted to say has been a huge success! It has raised an amazing €30,000 in funds to add to our ever-growing building fund. This fund would not be where it is today without your support. We gave over €14,000 in cash prizes over the year which represents the monthly prize fund, the bonus months where we added extra cash prizes and our Christmas draw with all the beautiful hampers and gifts bought by us from our fabulous local shops and suppliers!
To date, we are delighted to say we have raised a grand total of nearly €400,000 in funds, the breakdown of which is as follows:
Grants of €164,500; public donations, fundraising, and support €230,000 including this year’s annual Golf Classic which raised €12,000 and of course our Grand Draw which we have confirmed raised €30.000. Every cent has brought us another step closer to our goal but we still have a way to go to finish this million euro project and we continue to rely on the support of the community to get us all there.

We signed our contract with a local builder nearly 2 years ago. This was such a momentous stage but we could never have imagined the next turn for the project. Covid, Brexit, and global shortages in supplies to name but a few but you have held on with us! We are beyond pleased to say you will see some solid movement in production this week. Part of the steel has finally arrived, the next step in bringing the building out of the ground. We hope that you will continue to support this project and understand the delays and challenges that we have faced.
